Daniel Cronin
Daniel Cronin (he/him) is a recent graduate of the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College, CUNY, where he earned his B.A. summa cum laude in History, Political Science, and Classical Studies. He is excited to join the office of Representative Lori Trahan and serve the people of Massachusetts’s 3rd District.
At Hunter, Daniel served as Vice Chair of the College Senate and as External Affairs Commissioner of the Undergraduate Student Government, where he championed student voices and strengthened institutional supports for student well-being and academic success.
Off campus, Daniel’s work has focused on expanding economic opportunity and strengthening the social safety net. As part of the Economic Security Project’s federal campaigns team, he supported efforts to expand the Earned Income and Child Tax Credits. Most recently, Daniel interned at a social impact consulting firm, helping nonprofit and philanthropic clients advance economic mobility and equip government leaders with actionable strategies.
A proud Queens native of Irish and Indian descent, Daniel credits his parents - a public school teacher and a hospitality professional - for instilling in him a love of service.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys playing soccer, watching the New York Mets, and pretending to be a food critic.
